Brooke Burke
Brooke Burke was born on September 8, 1971 in Hartford, Connecticut. She is one of seven children. Yup, I did say seven!! She was raised in Tucson, Arizona. She never thought of herself as someone who would be interested in acting or modeling and wanted to be a drummer when she was young. Brooke studied Broadcast Journalism at UCLA but left school when she started landing modeling gigs all over LA. She was signed with the prestigious Ford Modeling Agency and was soon working as a model full time. She appeared on many fashion mag covers and also on the cover of Playboy. She moved from modeling when she became the TV commercial face of Bally Fitness, Coca-Cola and Discover Card. She started to get more recognition, however, when she started hosting the very popular E! TV series Wild On. Wild On flimed Brooke as she traveled to exotic and interesting locations all over the world, finding the best party and vacation spots for interested viewers. She replaced hostess Jules Asner who had left the show. Although the show has been a big hit, she was not interested in doing it initially, and was urged by a friend to check it out. The E! execs loved her for the role as host right away and she agreed to take the job. She married plastic surgeon Garth Fisher, of Extreme Makeover fame, in 2001. The have two children together Neriah their first daughter was born in 2000 and their second daughter Sierra Sky who was born on 2002. The couple split in July of 2005. She was also dating French actor David Charvet for a while after her divorce but the couple split soon after. Tidbits
